Pricing & Payment

How much does a shipping container cost?

Pricing depends on the size, condition (new or used), quantity, and your delivery location. Container prices also change with market inventory, so we quote based on what's available near you right now.

Request a quote with your ZIP code and you'll get a clear price that includes delivery.

Is delivery included in the price?

Your quote lists the container and delivery cost so you see the full price before you commit. Delivery cost depends mainly on the distance from the nearest depot to your site.

When do I pay?

Not until your container is delivered. We don't collect payment upfront. Once the container is on your property, you pay the balance.

Do you offer rent-to-own?

Rent-to-own availability depends on location and inventory. If you're interested, mention it in the details section of the quote form and we'll let you know what options are available for your order.

Delivery & Placement

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. We coordinate delivery to commercial and residential properties across the continental United States from depots close to your location.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 7–10 business days after you confirm your order. Need it sooner? Rush delivery gets it to you in 5–7 business days, and rush may be free in some areas.

Timing can vary with your location and inventory, and larger or multi-container orders may take longer to schedule. Your quote includes your estimated delivery window.

What do I need to prepare for delivery?

A firm, level surface such as gravel, compacted dirt, concrete, or asphalt. Plan for about 120' of truck access for any container size, plus about 14–15' of overhead clearance free of wires and branches.

We'll go over site access with you before scheduling so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Can the driver place the container exactly where I want it?

In most cases, yes. The tilt-bed truck slides the container off at the spot you choose, as long as the truck can reach it. Let us know which way the doors should face.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on your city, county, HOA, or property rules. Many commercial and rural properties need no permit for a storage container, while some municipalities require one for longer-term placement. We recommend checking with your local planning or zoning office before delivery.

Containers & Condition

What's the difference between new and used?

New (one-trip) containers have made a single trip from the factory. They have clean interiors, minimal wear, and uniform paint.

Used containers are retired from shipping service. They'll show dents, surface rust, and old markings, but they're structurally sound and wind and watertight. They're the best value for job sites and utility storage.

What does “wind and watertight” mean?

It means the container's walls, roof, floor, doors, and seals keep out wind and water. There are no holes, the doors close and seal properly, and the floor is solid. All our used containers are sold wind and watertight.

Are containers inspected?

Yes. Containers are inspected before release, including the structure, doors, seals, and floor, to make sure they meet the condition you ordered.

Which size should I choose?

A 20' fits tighter sites and smaller storage needs. A 40' doubles the floor space for not much more delivery effort. A 40' High Cube adds a foot of height for tall equipment or stacked inventory. See the container specs or pick “Not Sure” on the quote form and we'll help.

Commercial Orders

Do you work with commercial customers?

Yes, most of our customers are commercial: contractors, developers, property managers, self-storage operators, farms, and businesses. See commercial orders.

Can I order multiple containers?

Yes. Order any mix of sizes and conditions in one quote. For larger orders, we can schedule phased deliveries to match your project timeline.

Can you provide a quote for a bid or proposal?

Yes. Our quotes are itemized, so they're easy to pass to a project manager or include in a bid. Note your timeline in the quote form.
